Can you see the stars? It seems that they only exist at night, but in reality, these small glimpses of light were already spotted by our ancestors. Just like you, they also saw this sign in the sky, the trace of one thousand stars.

A medium-deep red colour with violet glints. The nose displays red berry fruit aromas mingling delightfully with notes of spice, cinnamon and vanilla. Fleshy, full and balanced on the palate with good length of flavour and a pleasant finish.

LLEIROSO RESERVA

Joan
Miró

Colección Familia

Wine and art form part of the same universe. The culture and traditions of wine have always featured prominently in paintings.

Joan Miró, who was fascinated by the night as an indeterminate and infinite space, painted in 1968 ‘Oiseau dans la Nuit’ (Bird in the Night). The work is an allegory, in which the main character is an inhabitant of the night, gliding through the darkness untethered and with a free spirit, the same free spirit with which we make our Lleiroso Colección de Familia.

In this edition of Reserva Especial, the bottles carry the seal of Joan Miró’s ‘Oiseau dans la Nuit’ on their labels.

This distinctive and original detail, which at the same time brilliantly reflects the captivating, evocative power of wine in complete harmony with the artist’s abstract painting, endows the bottle with a magnetic charm and character.

Lleiroso Colección de Familia is a wine that breaks with the past and reaches forward to bring the worlds of wine and art into ever-closer proximity.

Colección de Familia

This wine has been made in harmony with the art of the painter Joan Miró, the creator of the painting on the label of this magnificent Reserva wine.

Tempranillo grapes are sourced from old vines with stringent sorting of the fruit both in the vineyard and on its arrival at the cellars. The wine is aged eighteen months in new French oak barrels. It shows a deep ruby-red colour with dense tears running down the inside of the glass. Intense aromas with jammy ripe red berry fruit come through, together with toasty oak notes brought by the barrel. The wine is powerful, elegant and expressive on the palate with balsamic hints and the characteristic minerality of the vineyard’s terroir.

Hernández

Edición Especial

The close relationship between wine and art has been in evidence throughout history. From Egyptian frescoes, which depicted scenes of grape treading, to works by renowned contemporary artists such as Picasso and Dalí, an infinite variety of artistic depictions of wine-related themes have been made, each of them showing the unique and inimitable interpretation of its author.

The Lleiroso Sergio Hernández range is one such example.

Through the collaboration of this prestigious Mexican artist, the range of wines that is named after him has become one of the most exclusive offers of the brand.  A magnificent Reserva in the range is now a cult object sought by lovers of painting and fine art.

As part of his collaboration, Sergio Hernández each year embellishes the packaging of the Edición Especial, designing labels with character, artistic expression and colour.

Verdejo

Pale gold in colour with a greenish rim.

On the nose it displays intense typical aromas of the Verdejo grape variety (hay, citrus fruits, balsamic), with a touch of ripeness due to the fine lees contact.

On the palate, the wine is structured and nicely balanced, with a creamy, velvety texture. Its crispy acidity provides great freshness and enhances the aromas displayed on the nose. It has a long, lingering finish.
